This week’s SOUNDLIB features the return of DJ KUNAL MERCHANT. He spun a couple of really great sets with us back in March, and we’ve been itching to get him back on ever since.
KUNAL, whose influences range from Depeche Mode to Outkast to Massive Attack to Classical Indian music, stays busy rocking parties, hosting events at marquee spots around the city, and making music with his production team MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS, which recently released the critically acclaimed Hindustani Gangster project fusing Indian-style beats with Jay-Z’s American Gangster album.
We’ll be spinning soul (new and old), Hip-Hop, afrobeat, house, reggae and much more. As always, it’s FREE all night and the party starts at 9pm. Info below …
