For those who aren&#8217;t yet aware, the homie <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/qmastah\" >Q Mastah<\/a> spent the better part of the last year building, from scratch, this magnificent sonic beauty of a sound system he calls the <strong>Tower of Sound<\/strong>. Last month, I got to play music through this thing during it&#8217;s public test run at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buhbomp.com\/updates\/?p=4876\" >Greene Hill Food Co-Op<\/a>, and I&#8217;m still feeling all tingly from the experience. It&#8217;s really the most sublime sound system I&#8217;ve ever had the pleasure of spinning on.<\/p>\n<p>About a week later, while I was cavorting about in Neder-Neder-land, <strong>Q<\/strong> and my peoples at the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.soundliberation.org\" >Sound Liberation Front<\/a> hosted their official public debut of the sound system in Brooklyn at the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/soundliberation.org\/2012\/09\/dub-stuy-launch\/\" >launch party<\/a> of their new record label, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dubstuy\" >Dub-Stuy Records<\/a>. You can check out how that went down, and get a sneak peak at the <strong>Tower of Sound<\/strong> in the video above.<\/p>\n<p>And just in case you&#8217;re wondering, it sounds (and looks) a million times better in person.
